Single Shot (evaluation)

This has taken me awhile to actually write up because i dont own a pc or laptop.
First thing we did was think an idea that would work well, not be long after rememberance day we decided it would be good to use this. Coming with the idea of a man putting a rose on a grave with everything black and white with the rose being red.

We decided to go to the old newark (polish) war graves.
We set the camera as we did because we wanted the subject to walk on from negative space, to put the flower down on the grave so the audience will be shocked to the rose red.
Also with the graves being in a deep shot, it tells the audience that this one grave is important to a family as the other graves will be to others. It makes the audience then realize why we remember.

To have black and white with the colour we had to go on colour past, then click on the rose to get the same colour. This created a problem because you can see red on the subjects hand, this was to do with the low quality camera.

I believe this piece of work went well, it was nice, simple and effective. It has a good meaning and has something that most people can relate to, making this work show maturity.
